SPS Newsflash: Paola Ochoa Named Assistant Principal at Dolan Middle School

The Stamford Public Schools are pleased to announce that Paola Ochoa has been named assistant principal of Dolan Middle School.?

It is a homecoming of sorts for Ms. Ochoa, who taught Spanish to 7th and 8th grade students from 2009-2015.

A graduate of St. John’s University, where she earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees, Ms. Ochoa also holds a master’s degree in Bilingual School Counseling from Long Island University. She also has an Intermediate Administrator Certification from the University of Bridgeport. ?

She spent the past two years as the department head for Westhill High School’s? guidance department.

“We are thrilled to welcome back one of our own,” said Principal Charmaine Davis. “Clearly, she is the best choice for this position, but an added benefit is she knows our community so well.”

Ms. Ochoa’s first day as assistant principal at Dolan in early January.
